Pink Diamonds

One of Melanie’s favorite elements to incorporate into colored diamond engagement rings is a bezel setting. Bezel settings are both antique and modern, with a long history stretching back centuries and a secure top spot in contemporary trends. Bezel settings work particularly well with colored diamonds because the metal framework creates contrast, emphasizing the color of the focal diamond. Depending on the undertones of a pink diamond, you may choose a yellow gold bezel to emphasize the warmth of an orangey-pink diamond or a white gold bezel to underscore the hints of cool blue in a purply-pink diamond.
