Heirloom Stone Reset - Rings

Step 1: Purchase a ring setting from the dropdown menu, which includes the standard $500 reset fee.

Step 2: Our customer care team asks for photos of the stone in its current condition and its certification.

Step 3: We email you a waiver form detailing our policies for you to sign.

Step 4: Customer care sends instructions for shipping your stone to us. Please also send us the tracking information.

Step 5: We inspect the quality of the stone to be sure it is settable.

Step 6: If the stone passes inspection, we send an intake form confirming the condition of your stone.

Step 7: Our jewelers set your stone.

Step 8: We ship the finished ring back to you!

We accept natural diamonds, lab-grown diamonds, and sapphires certified by GIA, IGI, EGL, or a similar lab.
Our current timeline for an heirloom reset is 6-8 weeks after we receive the stone.

Heirloom Stone Reset - Rings

Do you have a beloved heirloom stone, loose or set into a piece of jewelry, that’s collecting dust? We’re here to help! We’re pleased to offer clients an heirloom stone reset program. Choose one of our available ring designs from the dropdown menu above and bring new life to your sentimental stone.

We accept certified natural diamonds, lab-grown diamonds, and sapphires for reset. Unfortunately, we cannot accept melee and pave stones.

To begin the process of resetting your heirloom stone, purchase the ring setting on this page, which includes the standard $500 reset fee. Our customer care team will then reach out to ask you to send photos of the stone in its current condition and its certification. We accept stones certified by GIA, IGI, EGL, or a similar lab. Appraisals are not accepted in place of certification.

After determining that your heirloom stone will fit the chosen ring design, we will send you a waiver form detailing our policies via email. Once you have signed and returned the waiver form, it’s time for you to send us your heirloom stone! The customer care team will send you instructions for how to safely ship your stone to us. Please be sure to also send us the tracking information so we know when to expect it!

When we receive your stone, we will inspect the quality of the stone to be sure it is settable and confirm it will fit in the chosen ring setting. If we come across any issues we will contact you via email to determine the next steps and collect your signature of acknowledgment before proceeding. If we cannot reset your stone we will refund your purchase of the setting for this project. If your stone passes inspection, we will send an intake form via email confirming the condition of your stone. Finally, our master bench jewelers will reset your heirloom stone.

Please note: You must send your stone to us within six months of purchasing your Heirloom Reset design. If we do not receive your stone in that time frame, we will need to cancel your order and issue a refund. You can then place a new order when you are ready to send us your stone!

A signature from an adult (21+) will be required upon delivery if the purchase amount was over $1,000.

We can ship to any permanent address (including your workplace)—but not hotels or non-permanent addresses. Please contact us if you need to reroute or change the delivery address. All packages are fully insured.

Domestic (U.S.):

We offer free shipping on all orders over $50. We ship via UPS 2-Day for orders over $50, and USPS Priority for orders under $50.

International:

We ship through FedEx International Priority to a limited number of countries (see the full list here). International clients are responsible for all shipping and all customs charges.

This piece was designed with our signature 1.2mm band. It is specifically designed and crafted to be not only delicate-looking, but also long-lasting. However, we know some people prefer a thicker band, and we can customize our bands to 1.5mm or 2mm for most designs. Please reach out to our customer care team with any questions about customizing the band for this piece!
