This goes for more than just our dainty engagement rings; you should remove any jewelry anytime it could possibly be damaged. Designer Melanie Casey recommends removing your fine jewelry, including dainty engagement rings, when sleeping, showering, or swimming, exercising, gardening, or doing any kind of heavy lifting, as these activities could result in damage to the structural elements of your fine jewelry and dainty engagement rings. We also recommend removing your fine jewelry when interacting with any chemicals, including most soaps, cosmetics, and household cleaners, which could wear away at the metal or stones in your jewelry. We also recommend regular cleanings with our ultrasonic jewelry cleaner to ensure your jewelry remains safe from debris and sparkling.
