We Just Reduced
Some of Our Prices!
Here’s the Happy Reason.

In our industry, price reductions are unheard of. But we did it anyway. Effective immediately. 

Are we crazy? We prefer the term “generous.”

Here’s everything you need to know about why some of our pieces now have lower  prices and what that might mean for you.

Here’s what happened.

The COVID-19 pandemic has obviously impacted just about every area of life.

And for Melanie Casey Fine Jewelry, it had a significant effect on our material costs due to supply chain issues. To put it bluntly, they skyrocketed.

What did we do?

Rather than increasing our prices accordingly, we chose to keep our prices stable and take the profit losses. Why? Because that way, our pieces could remain accessible.

But then something wonderful happened.

Supply chains opened back up and material costs went back down. Which gave us the freedom to reconsider the price points for some of our pieces. (Here’s a transparent look into our pricing structure.)

As you may or may not know, we handcraft all of our pieces ourselves. What does that even mean? It means our own close-knit team of jewelers meticulously design, create, and quality-check each and every piece. We set stones by hand and polish our pieces the old way—the right way—as we cut out all the shortcuts.

No outsourcing. No cookie-cutters. And no faking it.

So because we don’t have a “middle man,” we’re able to pass the savings on to you, rather than increase our bottom line.

We value people over profit 100% of the time. This way of operating is woven into the fabric of who we are as a company and it’s one of our core values. We practice that internally, as we care for our employees, and it even extends to you and all of our clients. 

So, let’s talk logistics. What does this mean for you?

If you purchased or received one of our now-cheaper pieces within the last month (between April 1 and May 12, 2021), you will automatically receive a refund from us as soon as we can process all of them. We will notify you via email. It’s our gift to you.

And if you purchased or received one of our now-cheaper pieces any time in 2021 (before April 1), email our Customer Care Specialists, and we’ll issue you a gift card for the difference.

This also means that you might want to revisit that piece you’ve had your eye on. Because it just might have a slashed price!
