Along with much of the country, we in Massachusetts are now under a stay-at-home order, as of March 24, 2020. I wanted to update you about what this means for us here at Melanie Casey.
- Though we are no longer able to be in the studio, we have work-from-home setups for our jewelers, and we are all continuing to create beauty in the midst of this crisis. This means we can continue to accept new orders and move them through our production process! Our customer service team is also ready and excited to answer your inquiries.
- We remain incredibly grateful for each and every order you are placing on our site. You are, quite frankly, keeping our business afloat, and allowing us to continue to pay our team as we weather this difficult time together. THANK YOU!
- Please continue to hold onto any resize, repair, return, or exchange packages. For the next two weeks, there will be no one in the studio to receive incoming mail, and we'd hate for your jewelry to be returned to you. We will update as soon as we are able to safely receive packages.
- For the duration of the stay-at-home order, we are still shipping out orders, but at a slower pace. This means that if you have an existing order with us, we are working diligently to have it completed and shipped out, but please expect delays. If you are placing an order in the next two weeks, you can expect a delay of several weeks to several months (depending on when our suppliers are back up and running) on our stated timelines for each piece. We are so sorry about this! Feel free to reach out to our customer service team at email@example.com if you'd like more specific information about the piece you have your eye on!
Again, thank you for each note of encouragement and show of support. We could not continue on without you, and we are grateful. We are also very hopeful! This new create-from-home setup may not be as efficient as we are used to, but our team has come together in beautiful cooperation, and we will continue to do so.
